P320 carry vs p320 compact
I have a P320x compact and P320x carry. I've had two P320 gun units for a couple of years, and I have enjoyed playing around with all manner of subcompact, compact, carry, and full size grip modules and slide assemblies--like an adult Lego toy. I recently got the x grip module in compact and carry, and I'm trying out both for EDC.The X-Compact got traded in, as I found it to be more chunky than I like for IWB - if I'm going to carry something size of the X-Compact, I'll just carry my P229 RXP (or something else comparable). Either would work just fine as a nightstand pistol, although the rail on the X-Compact will accept more options straight away.The p320-m18 uses the Carry grip module which takes 17 round flush mags. The p320 Carry takes 17 round flush mags and is essentially identical to the m18 in most ways. The p320 Compact takes 15 round flush mags because it has a slightly shorter grip length. I own two P320s, a 9 mm compact/carry and a .45 ACP full-size. Before the P320 came out in .45 ACP I shot a P320 full-size in .40 S&W a couple of times which was a rental at a local range.
