The extra mag is so small, it is easy to carry in your pocket, That’s 14 rds available for an encounter, which is equal to or more than most of the popular concealed carry weapons, especially the new “wonder 9’s.”.
According to the numbers a .380 is only slightly less “powerful” (in terms of muzzle energy) than a .38 special round, but to me those 10 grains of bullet weight make a difference. The Kimber has a slightly lighter trigger than the Sig, so it's more in line with what would be termed a defensive trigger. While it is no measure in ounces, breathe on it and if fires, target gun trigger; it is much better than my former S&W 380, the LCP, the Kahr, just about any pocket gun I've handled and only slightly edging out the Sig in that regard.

Feb 7, 2018 · Light primer strikes. Problem was really bad Monday at the range, about every other round. This is my wife's Micro 9 and it gets cleaned and lubed after every range trip. We had some of this problem initially with Sellier&Bellot 124 gr, so we switched over to Fiocchi 115 gr and it was good to go. Monday we were using some Aguilla and Speer Lawman.
