While it does have the industry’s thickest wear layer at 40 mils, it can scratch, just as anything short of concrete or tile would. You can replace a plank if necessary.

It's 40mil of poly on flooret. vs. 20mil of ceramic bead. I bought lucida since they had a good color and harder wear layer. Really wish they'd make it stronger, I'd spend an addition $1-2 a sqft for the flooret product if they did harder wear, the 72" planks and installation seemed pretty nice.
