Sort of true. Renewal installs something close to but different from the 100 series. They have a lot more options that the 100, but both are Fibrex windows. Renewal doesn't install any of the standard Andersen products. Contractors can't buy any of the Renewal windows. It is not the same product, but I would rather have a 400 series any day.
