Theoretically the A8 is rated at over 700 lb-ft (HP is calculated, Torque is what the parts are rated for) but the Z06 has different internals and additional cooling so I doubt the A8 version delivered on the Stingray can withstand as much. The factory THM 350 transmission "generally" can take about 300 to 350 Lb/Ft. of torque max for the truck versions. Cars are a little less. In the 80 versions where they started using an electronic stall converter they don't hold up well at all.

What you could do is build a strong 3.0 engine using the 3.2 crank in a 2.8 block. Perfect for big boost The 3.2 head drops right on too if you use a BDE 2.8 as your base.
