These numbers are from the front pad. 21B650536 K04 17 CTL. This block is a 2 bolt main and has the 3970010 cast in the back of the block then up above that is K 9 cast into the block. I looked up the head casting numbers 3998920 and it said they are 72-73 350. The numbers on the machined pad on the front passenger side of the block are 151420105 K10 3P CMJ. From the info I'm looking at the CMJ means "1974 350 T400 Police" or "1980 305 full size/Camaro", but shouldn't the 9 digit VIN code ... Am trying to get info on my small block chevy. Casting number is 3970010. Stamped numbers are V0205ZAH and 19S423482. Near as l can find out through the internet l have an engine manufactured in 1979 to be installed in a 1980 Vette. The internet only shows ZAD, then jumps to ZAK, NOTHING FOR ZAH.
